The highly anticipated annual Apple event is this week, with tech nerds and regular smartphone users eagerly expecting what new software and products can be announced.

This year's Apple event is titled “Awe Dropping” and is Tuesday, September 9. Apple executives will discuss the company's year and new products.

While the media giant hasn't released the itinerary for the event, media experts hope Apple will launch the iPhone 17, which is rumored to feature Apple's first customized Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips. The smartphone is expected to be roughly the same as the iPhone 16, but with a larger front-facing camera (24 megapixels compared to 12 megapixels) and longer battery life.

What will be discussed in the 2025 Apple Event?

In addition to the iPhone 17, here is an introduction to what is said to be revealed:

Apple Air

In 2024, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the iPhone Plus series will stop using the iPhone 17, giving the iPhone Air space. Bloomberg reported that the new model is about 5.5mm thinner, one-third thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro.

Apple news outlet MacWorld also wants the iPhone Air Line to create a new camera stick with design elements that have the phone's rear camera stretching on the phone.

Apple Watch

MacWorld also hopes Apple improves its Apple Watch series, debuting in the 11th Series, SE and Ultra 3. These watches may be larger in size and come with a WatchOS 26 pre-installed.

AirPods Pro 3

Another Apple news outlet, Bloomberg and Macrumors, predict that the AirPods Pro 3 will release a new design this month. The latter expects this new AirPod series to have new chips to improve sound quality, eliminate noise and heartbeat monitoring.
